The University of Portsmouth is working with the Uzbekistan government to launch a new programme to boost educational outcomes in the country. The University's School of Education, Languages and Linguistics has been working with the Uzbekistan Ministry for PreSchool and School Education for the past two years to develop a pioneering school director development programme. The programme will engage 25 headteachers from across Uzbekistan to ensure all education districts and school types are represented.
