Treasury secretary Dr Caralee McLiesh has delegated authority to pay up to $400 million a month as cost of large-scale asset purchasing programme rises. Payments to cover the losses the Reserve Bank has made on its large-scale asset purchase programme continue to go up. As the cost of the large-scale asset purchasing programme continues to rise Treasury secretary Dr Caralee McLiesh now has authority to spend up to $400 million a month pay for the losses the Reserve Bank is incurring on the programme.
