On June 7, 2023 at Malacañan Palace in Manila after administering the induction of the newly elected 2023-2025 officers of the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII), President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., in his speech, assured the leaders of the Filipino Chinese community that the national government is doing its best to improve the business climate in the Philippines and to strengthen the economy. President Marcos said his administration has already taken the necessary steps to address the issues on ease of doing business in the country.
