Two people have been arrested after an alleged burglary in Mount Waverley this morning. Police responded to reports of a burglary on Gilby Road about 4.10am. An allegedly stolen white Mitsubishi Express van was seen driving away from the commercial premises which had been broken into. With units on the ground and the Air Wing overhead, the Mitsubishi was followed allegedly driving at speed through the suburbs of Burwood, Surrey Hills and Camberwell. Officers successfully deployed stop sticks at the intersection of Junction and Springvale roads in Nunawading.
