MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon or 'amihan' is expected to bring cooler weather conditions to most parts of Luzon until next week, the state weather bureau said on Friday. 'Sa mga nagtatanong kung magsisimula na ba ang tag init, kung magtatapos na ba ang amihan, hindi po,' Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Benison Estareja said. (The amihan season is not about to end and the dry season is not starting yet.) 'Aasahan pa din po natin ang surge ng northeast monsoon hanggang sa susunod na linggo,' he added.
