MANILA, Philippines—Rensy Bajar has been officially named the new head coach of the Letran Knights. Bajar signed a two-year contract with the Knights on Monday. The 47-year-old Bajar said he plans to 'continue the legacy' left by his predecessor Bonnie Tan, who parted ways with Letran after guiding the team to three straight NCAA championships. 'We're just continuing the legacy of what coach Bonnie started and the winning culture that's built here in [Letran],' said Bajar, who was Tan's deputy at Letran from 2019 to 2022.
