Narrowboaters gathered en masse in Birmingham on Sunday at a protest organised by Fund Britain's Waterways. The group organised the event to highlight Government plans to drastically cut funding for inland waterways from 2027 despite the wide range of benefits they bring to the general public as well as boaters.
