It's the most wonderful time of the year. I'm not disputing that. What I am saying, though, is that Christmas Eve can sometimes be a little… fraught, full of its own unique difficulties – logistical, emotional, parental – that must be faced and overcome if you're going to get the best out of it. Perhaps you think I'm being dramatic. Perhaps you live in a Hallmark Christmas movie and/or have no misgivings about sedating your children. In which case, great, good for you, well done.But for the rest of us, there will be challenges.
