KUALA LUMPUR, June 15 (Bernama) -- Maxis has been selected by Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn Bhd (BHPetrol) to participate in its wide-scale digitalisation exercise in a bid to improve customer service at retail stations. In a statement today, Maxis said that as a network provider, it will deploy its managed software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) to power BHPetrol's outdoor payment terminals at every petrol pump and point of sale system at all its retail stations in Peninsular Malaysia. SD-WAN is a networking technology that offers adaptable, scalable, and affordable converged connectivity solutions while incorporating built-in security measures to ensure end-to-end communication protection.
