INQUIRER.net file photo The Anti-Red Tape Authority (Arta) on Monday launched the implementing rules and regulations (IRR) of the law which streamlines the permitting process and construction of telecommunications and internet infrastructures, marking the next step in the government's efforts to improve connectivity in the country. Arta Secretary Ernesto Perez in his presentation showed that under the IRR, building permit applications with complete documentary requirements shall be acted upon by the different One-Stop Shop for Construction Permitting (OSCP) offices within a nonextendable period of seven working days.
