The Hunter Valley region's latest accessible tourism experience is now taking bookings following a successful lift off this week. The Hunter Valley Accessible Hot Air Balloon, a joint partnership between Cessnock City Council and Balloon Aloft, allows passengers who have previously been precluded from this activity the chance to experience the freedom of flight. The accessible hot air balloon incorporates a unique seat and harnesses to ensure passengers with limited mobility are safe and secure during the flight, and is a first of its kind in NSW.
