MANILA, Philippines — All suspects in the killing of Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo and eight others have expressed willingness to cooperate with the ongoing investigation, the Department of Justice (DOJ) said Tuesday. The four suspects were transported to Metro Manila for security purposes – the two who already executed their affidavits were transferred to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), as they were being evaluated for admission to the Witness Protection Program, while the other two were taken to the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center.
