MANILA, Philippines — Only nine out of 35 sampling stations in the municipality of Puerto Galera in Mindoro have passed the water quality standards, the Department of Health (DOH) said Tuesday. 'The results released last April 14, 2023, show that only 9 sampling stations have met the criteria for water quality guidelines set by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Administrative Order 2016-08 or the Water Quality Guidelines and General Effluent Standards of 2016,' the DOH said in a statement.
