MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) on Monday said it recorded a total of 1,298 new COVID-19 infections from March 20-26. Based on the DOH's latest weekly COVID-19 bulletin, the fresh infections mean a daily average of 185 cases which is 11 percent higher than the 167 daily average recorded the week before. The total number of new COVID-19 cases logged from March 13-19 was 1,171. Of the 1,298 fresh infections, 10 were tagged as critical or severe. The DOH's latest data also indicated that active critical or severe COVID-19 admissions have reached 307.
