University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa beach volleyball players Chandler Cowell and Sydney Miller were named the Big West Pairs Team of the Week after a stellar showing in the Best in the West tournament, which took place March 4–5 in Laguna Beach, California. It is the first career weekly honor for the pair. Cowell and Miller enjoyed an unblemished record at the No. 5 court as UH swept four matches against Big West rivals California Polytechnic State University and No. 14 Long Beach State University. The duo were the only pair all weekend to go undefeated during the double round-robin tournament.
