TACLOBAN CITY — A policeman here is hunted down by colleagues after allegedly killing a woman believed to be his girlfriend on Wednesday, May 3. Police Senior Master Sergeant Van Gregory Benitez, 44, was accused of shooting dead Jessica Durana, 30, using his service firearm. Reports said the victim and her mother were walking along Barangay 43, Quarry District in Tacloban, at about 5:30 p.m. when the suspect suddenly followed them. Moments later, Benitez shot the victim several times without provocation.
