Australian Governor General David Hurley (Photo: abc.net.au) Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Andrew Goledzinowski said that this is the third time the Australian head of state has visited Vietnam. The visit is part of activities to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries (1973-2023). Mr. David Hurley is the first among senior Australian leaders to visit Vietnam this year. During the visit, Governor General of Australia David Hurley will meet with senior Vietnamese leaders, the Vietnam Peacekeeping Forces, a number of alumni who have graduated from universities in Australia, and educational institutions such as RMIT in Ho Chi Minh City.
