Woman who led deputies on two-state chase is sentenced
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A woman involved in a police pursuit two years ago that injured a Wood County Sheriff's deputy has been given a suspended sentence.Rose Marie Davis was sentenced Tuesday to consecutive 1-5 and 1-10 year prison sentences. Those sentences were suspended by Judge Jason Wharton, and Davis was given 3 years probation, with credit for 790 days already served.She recently pleaded guilty to fleeing from an officer in a vehicle with reckless indifference, and to grand larceny.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Original story: 2/19/2019A Wood County sheriff's deputy injured after his patrol car was hit during a pursuit Tuesday evening has been released from the hospital.
