In a resolution dated June 26, the SC's Third Division denied Makati City's Omnibus Motion, which, among others, sought the court's leave, meaning asking for permission to file and admit a second appeal. But the SC, through a briefer provided by its Public Information Office, said: 'A second motion for reconsideration is generally prohibited under the Rules of Court.
