DIGOS CITY, Davao del Sur — A 25-year-old rice trader in Magsaysay town, Davao del Sur was robbed by still unidentified suspects on Friday as she was walking along a riverbank at around 11 a.m. on Friday after a collection round. Captain Arturo Papas, Jr., acting Magsaysay police chief, said the incident happened in Sitio Sagrada of Barangay Barayong. The trader, whom he identified only as Jennifer, a resident of Barangay Poblacion, was intercepted by three men near a river and grabbed her backpack that contained some P50,000 in cash collection for the day.
