MANILA, Philippines — Retired Professor Elenita 'Leni' Carpio-Panganiban passed away Sunday due to cardiac arrest. She was 83. Elenita was a professor for 37 years at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), where she also served as associate dean. She is survived by her husband, retired Supreme Court Chief Justice Artemio Panganiban who is also an Inquirer columnist since his retirement from the judiciary in 2006, their children Marilen and Alex Yaptangco, Dr. Jose Artemio Panganiban III, Celine Hannett, AIM Prof.
