A man of no fixed address has been charged with allegedly sending threatening and harassing emails to a Federal Member of Parliament. The man, 39, was arrested by the AFP at Brisbane International Airport on Tuesday (11 July) and appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court yesterday (12 July), where he was remanded in custody to reappear on Friday (14 July). The man has been charged with: One count of using a carriage service to make a threat to a person to kill that person, contrary to subsection 474.
