The service to beatify Jozef and Wiktoria Ulma and their seven children, including the unborn baby Wiktoria was carrying, will be held on 10 September 2023 in the southeastern Polish town of Markowa, where they died. Wiktoria and Jozef Ulma, a Polish couple from Markowa, hid eight Jews in their home during the Second World War, for which, in March 1944, they were executed by the Nazi Germans together with their six children and the Jewish fugitives.
