Pagasa: Parts of Luzon to experience rain but hot weather will still prevail
MANILA, Philippines — The convergence of easterlies and north easterlies is set to bring rain over a large area of Luzon this Thursday morning but sweltering temperatures will still persist in the country, the state weather service said. According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), warm air is expected to peak at 35°C in several parts of the country Thursday, May 11, with Metro Manila possibly experiencing heat index up to 40°C. 'Ngayong umaga po sa malaking bahagi ng Luzon, asahan na ang mga pag-ulan dulot ng pagsalubong ng easterlies and northeasterlies.
