Mountain biking enthusiasts and thrill-seekers from across the state will gear up to take on the diverse terrain at the First Turkey MTB Reserve, as the 2023 AusCycling Gravity Enduro State Championships kick off this weekend. The exhilarating sporting event will be hosted by the Rockhampton Mountain Bike Club, that received $3,500 towards the event during Round One 2023/24 of Council's Community Assistance Program (CAP), which Mayor Tony Williams said will provide a significant boost to the local sporting scene in Rockhampton.
