Nominations are open for City of Ryde's 2024 Citizen of the Year Awards, when the local community gets a chance to honour some of its most deserving members. City of Ryde Mayor Clr Sarkis Yedelian OAM said the awards – which will be announced at a special ceremony on Thursday 18 January 2024 – will be a fantastic way to start the new year. "These awards give our community a chance to recognise the deeds and achievements of some outstanding individuals," he said. "Our City is full of wonderful, inspirational stories – and we believe the notable accomplishments of the people in our community deserve to be acknowledged and celebrated.
