Cruise CEO Kyle Vogt introduced  'WAV,' in an X video claiming its the world's first self-driving, wheelchair accessible vehicle. He reported, 'Designing a self-driving vehicle that accommodates as many wheelchair users as possible is a distinct technical challenge that has never been done before.' Cruise developed this vehicle in close partnership with GM and the disability community, including BraunAbility, Q'Straint, and members of our Cruise Accessibility Council, who provided feedback on the key components of its design, user experience, and securement systems.
