“The story I tell in my film is essentially rooted in my personal experience, looking for a caregiver and asking for help,” Sherry said. “I wanted to tell this story because it’s not really the first thing you think of when you see someone using their wheelchair full-time, it’s often a private matter that happens behind closed doors.”
