Te Kiwi Tuaro a-Motu-National Volunteer Week runs from Monday to Saturday of  next week and among the many organisations that rely heavily on volunteers is Surf Life Saving New Zealand (SLNZ). Leading up to the week, SLSNZ has profiled a number of its leading volunteers and for Gisborne it focused on Ana Naden of the Kaiaponi Farms Waikanae club. Ana's story was headlined A Recipe for Success When it Comes to Surf Life Saving. Baking brownies and saving lives may seem an unlikely combination, but for Ana Naden, one of Waikanae's much loved volunteers, it's a recipe for success.
