First published JUN 2, 2023 Updated 14 minutes ago Newsroom The Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in Care is being challenged in court by two of the institutions it is investigating Two churches have filed applications for a judicial review of the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in Care, arguing that they don't bear responsibility for care of children and that no abuse occurred that was within the scope of the inquiry.  The Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in Care has been investigating abuse in state and church institutions since 2018.
