MANILA, Philippines – The state weather bureau said that it has detected a tropical depression (TD) outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR), but it is not expected to enter nor affect the country. In its Tuesday weather update, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Grace Castañeda said the TD located east northeast of extreme northern Luzon, as of present, has no effect in the country. 'Meron tayong namataang bagyo o tropical depression sa labas ng ating area of responsibility dito yan sa may east northeast ng extreme northern Luzon at hindi natin ito nakikita na papasok sa ating area of responsibility at sa kasalukuyan ay wala rin itong direct effect sa mga bahagi ng ating bansa,' Castañeda said.
