PHNOM PENH—Wushu artist Sandrex Gainsan managed to snare a bronze medal in the men's jianshu/qiangshu on Thursday at the 32nd Southeast Asian Games. Gainsan compiled 18.926 points (9.33 in jianshu and 9.59 in qiangshu) and placed third despite a well-executed routine by the reigning world junior champion. Indonesia's Muhammad Daffa claimed the gold medal with 19.326 points (9.676 and 9.650) while Malaysia's Wong Weng Son wound up second after piecing together 9.333 and 9.593 for an 18.926 total.
