Although a National Plan to Prevent and Combat Cancer (PNPCC) was approved by the Romanian Parliament in 2022, the minister of health opposed this plan, according to the statements of the FABC management, stating that the team should draw up another plan, and therefore delaying the implementation of the legal plan approved by the parliament.
