Picture: Carmel Zaccone AS new budget airline Bonza begins flights to and from Mildura, competitor Qantas has been accused of squeezing local travellers for profits by charging the highest fares it can get away with. Mildura councillor Mark Eckel told Sunraysia Daily on Tuesday that a local business person had contacted him to complain that, early this week, they had been quoted a price of $799 for a one-way Qantas fare to Melbourne when they had attempted to buy a ticket for the next day.
