MANILA, Philippines — In anticipation of the Holy Week travel rush, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said on Friday that provincial buses will be allowed to traverse through Edsa. There will be a five-day work break as the Holy Week commemoration falls next to another holiday, the Day of Valor. 'From April 3 to 5, provincial buses will be allowed on Edsa from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am; and from April 6 to 10, 2023 round-a-clock to accommodate the expected influx of passengers going to the provinces for the observance of the Holy Week,' said the MMDA in a statement.
