MANILA, Philippines — With the expected influx of travelers nationwide this Holy Week and summer break, the Movie Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) reminded bus operators on Tuesday that only shows and films that received 'General Patronage (G)' and 'Parental Guidance (PG)' ratings are allowed to be shown in public utility vehicles (PUVs). MTRCB cited Sections 1-3 of its Memorandum Circular No. 09-2011, stating, 'All common carriers and other public places that openly and publicly exhibit motion pictures shall be treated as movie theaters for purposes of regulation by the Board.
