MANILA, Philippines — The total number of volcanic earthquakes in Mayon further increased to 107, state seismologists said on Tuesday. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded this from 5:00 am of June 26 to 5:00 am of June 27. It can be recalled that of this number, 100 occurred for the first 10 hours of the measuring period alone. In the previous period, only 102 volcanic earthquakes were recorded. Phivolcs noted that the increase of volcanic earthquakes has begun since June 24.
