After completing its first batch of pre-delivery inspections recently , Chery Malaysia is now celebrating a major milestone in its local assembly project with the official handover of its first CKD cars. A recent ceremony saw the handover of the first locally assembled Chery Omoda 5 and Tiggo 8 Pro SUVs from its manufacturing partner Inokom over to Chery Malaysia, ahead of official deliveries to customers soon. 'This remarkable achievement underscores our commitment to localised CKD manufacturing and our dedication to providing the best driving experience to our customers and it marks the beginning of a new era in our automotive journey,' the company said in a statement.
