MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. has been making the right moves in addressing the West Philippine Sea (WPS) dispute against China, former Supreme Court senior associate justice Antonio Carpio said. Carpio, who was part of the Philippine delegation that won the arbitration case versus China in 2016, was asked in an interview with ABS-CBN News Channel's Headstart on Monday if the steps taken by Marcos on the WPS issue are correct. This was in light of the country needing to utilize possible natural gas resources from Reed Bank, with the looming depletion of the Malampaya gas field.
