Big Swiss is a bold, idiosyncratic novel with a lot more cunnilingus than expected (although the tongue on the cover should probably be a giveaway). Greta is a hot mess in the grand tradition that will be familiar to fans of cult television shows about reckless women with traumatic pasts such as Fleabag , I May Destroy You and anything starring Daisy May Cooper. Greta is a loner who is paid to transcribe sex therapy sessions. She spends her days in a crumbling Dutch farmhouse in upstate New York infested by bees, 'a one-cigarette drive from town', listening to the disembodied voices of a pretentious therapist, Om, and his various clients as they divulge their darkest, dirtiest secrets.
