When encrypting a device, it will append the .venus extension to encrypted file's names and drop a ransom note named README.html. The ransomware uses a wide variety of contact email addresses and TOX IDs, indicating it is likely multiple threat actors distributing the ransomware. If you have been encrypted by the Venus Ransomware, please share how you were infected.
