MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Audit (COA) has called the attention of the city government of Ormoc for supposed lack of proper documentation of relief goods for disaster victims. This means the recording of the acceptance and distribution of donations for evacuees may not have been covered by receipts or vouchers. COA reported Ormoc received P350,000 worth of cash donations and over P20 million worth of donations last year. This was based on COA's audit report for the city for 2022, uploaded on its website on June 7.
