(VOVWORLD) - President Vo Van Thuong hosted an official welcome ceremony for his Kazakh counterpart, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, on Monday at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi. Earlier, President Tokayev and his entourage laid a wreath at the monument to war martyrs and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Hanoi. This marks the first visit of a Kazakh President to Vietnam in 12 years, and it's also the first time President Tokayev has visited Vietnam since assuming his new position.
