Five men will appear in court today charged with affray following a brawl in Merrylands yesterday. About 10.45pm (Friday 1 September 2021), police were called to Windsor Street, Merrylands, following reports of a brawl. Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command arrived and found an 18-year-old man with facial injuries. He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics. The man was reportedly injured after allegedly being assaulted during an altercation with four men who fled in a vehicle.
