MANILA, Philippines — A total of 913 infections of COVID-19 were recorded by the Department of Health (DOH) from Feb. 27 to March 5, which is higher than the registered number the previous week which was only 832. Based on the DOH's latest weekly COVID-19 bulletin, these infections translated to a daily average of 130 cases, ten percent higher than the 119 daily average recorded from Feb. 20 to 26. Despite the higher number of infections, no new infections were tagged as critical or severe, with active critical or severe COVID-19 admissions at 395.
