MANILA -Petron Corp. has launched a new refillable liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) product in Luzon to lessen consumers' dependence on charcoal and firewood and prevent the illegal refilling of butane canisters for cooking. The Fiesta Gas 170-gram refillable cylinders, similar to the size of a small insecticide container, were first launched in the Visayas last year and are now available in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, according to Petron. It added that the cylinders, which have an aluminum alloy that can withstand high pressure, are compatible with LPG-rated portable stoves and grillers for cooking meat.
