Nominations for Mildura Rural City Council's 2023 Youth Awards are now open, paving the way for our community to recognise the achievements and contributions our young people make to our community. The Awards are open to those aged between 12 and 25 who live, study or work in the Mildura Council area across three categories – Youth Worker of the Year, Community Participation Award and Endurance and Persistence. Nominations close Friday 25 August and can be made online at www.mildura.vic.gov.au/youthawards Councillor for Community Health and Wellbeing Troy Bailey said the awards were an opportunity to highlight the positive influence of our region's young people, which may otherwise go unnoticed.
