MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. has marked Labor Day with a promise that his administration is 'working conscientiously' to address the concerns of workers and provide opportunities that will elevate the living and social conditions of their families. Marcos on Monday paid tribute to the labor force whom he deemed 'essential to the sustenance of our soaring economy and also in laying the groundwork for our important industries.' 'That is why we strive to address the cares and concerns of our workers, as well as provide them with better opportunities so that they are capacitated to their full potential as active participants in nation-building,' Marcos said in his Labor Day message.
