But news reports about the hearing in juvenile and domestic relations court show that the story is cloudier than previously reported. The rape became a national story when the girl's father was arrested and hauled out of a Loudoun County school-board meeting. As well, board members and the superintendent falsely claimed no such bathroom assaults had occurred as a result of the county's dangerous 'transgender' restroom policy.
