Detectives are appealing for a rideshare driver and tradies to come forward with vital information about a shooting incident at Elizabeth Park. About 5.15pm on Tuesday 8 August, police were called to Midway Road after reports of two men assaulting another man near Innes Street. It was reported that one man was in possession of a firearm which was discharged towards the victim. A 23-year-old man sustained minor facial injuries as a result of the assault and did not require medical treatment. Two men, aged 28 and 40, were quickly located and arrested and face serious charges of aggravated robbery and discharge firearm to injure/annoy or frighten a person.
